Paul Vanderputt

Paul is a registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor. He is the Director of Adaptive Counselling and Psychology and is passionate about supporting the mental health of the local community, reducing the stigma around seeking help.

Paul has a particular interest in working with people to heal trauma, manage anxiety, overcome depression, treating adult ADHD, and helping people cope with life stress and transitions. He is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches and will happily discuss which treatment would be best suited to his clients needs before commencing. Paul’s approach to therapy is person focused, based on trust and honesty, and each individual is treated uniquely.

Josh Dredge

Joshua Dredge

Josh is a registered Occupational Therapist, with a focus on the impact of Mental Health on an individual’s functioning. He has extensive experience working in the community health sector as a mental health case manager as well as in management and service implementation in the NDIS. He has a keen interest in physical health and holds the correlation between mental health and physical health very closely in the work that he does with participants. Josh works in a collaborative way with participants to help identify goals that are meaningful to them and takes a practical approach to Mental Health OT. He is extremely passionate about working with people with mental ill-health and takes great pride in helping people improve their independence and functioning.

Outside of work, Josh is a soccer player and gym enthusiast and enjoys all things popular culture.

Parth Gulati

Parth is a registered Occupational Therapist and graduate from Monash University. He has experience working with the NDIS since 2020 after completing his undergraduate studies from La Trobe University. Parth has experience working with a variety of health conditions including mental health, neurological health, and physiological rehabilitation. He takes a personalised approach to understand his clients and their needs.

Arman Forough

Arman is a registered Occupational Therapist and graduate from Monash University. He is originally from Vancouver, Canada however has experience working with the NDIS since moving to Melbourne. Arman has experience with a variety of mental health conditions and has always seen the value of facilitating individuals to engage in occupations personally meaningful to them. Arman believes occupation is key to enabling one to experience a holistic sense of wellbeing, and through his work he aims to assist his clients re-engage in activities they find beneficial and set goals that align with their interests.

Melanie Colhoun

Melanie is a Clinical Psychologist and has extensive experience working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, self-esteem and confidence issues, stress management, interpersonal and relationship difficulties and adjustment disorders such as separation, grief and loss. Melanie provides a warm, open and supportive environment for her clients, believing that the relationship between the psychologist and client is paramount to successful healing and change.

Kate is a registered psychologist who loves connecting with people to support their journey towards improved wellbeing. Kate establishes strong therapeutic relationships and emphasises the importance of a collaborative approach to assist her clients in achieving their goals. Kate has a wealth of experience in community mental health settings, working amongst some of societies most complex and diverse populations. Ken Dao

Ken is a registered psychologist and has practiced across a range of diverse settings including: schools, community health, government agencies and crisis helplines. With therapeutic experience across the lifespan, Ken provides support to children (5+), adolescents, adults and elderly individuals, focussing on assisting each client to identify and work towards their own personal, individual goals.

Ken is passionate about supporting people to manage life challenges, including adjustment issues and life stresses such as school, work, family and relationship issues. Common issues that Ken works with include depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, grief and loss and trauma.

As an EMDR, trauma-informed trained therapist, Ken has a keen interest in supporting people to understand and heal past traumas. Nicole Abramowitz

Nicole is a Registered Psychologist, and Educational & Developmental Psychology Registrar who is passionate about conducting autism assessments and counselling therapy, to improve clients’ understanding of themselves (their strengths and difficulties). She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and various settings including early intervention, disability, schools, private practice, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres.

Nicole considers it a real privilege to be a part of individuals’ assessment/therapy journeys. She strongly values the therapeutic relationship whereby client and clinician collaborate together to bring about healing and change. Kate Crighton

Kate is a registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals live a life they find meaningful. Kate completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy through the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. During her studies, Kate developed a strong interest in mental health care and went on to complete postgraduate studies in Mental Health and Addictions. It was here that she learnt about the recovery principles and how to meaningfully apply them to support individuals to live a fulfilling life.

Kate truly believes recovery is possible for everyone and works in a way that allows participants to discover what recovery looks like for them. She has experience working with individuals living with mental illness in both clinical and community settings.
